Blea Tarn
Nestling in the bottom of the Little Langdale valley, Blea Tarn provides a stunning view of Side Pike and the Langdale Pikes in the distance. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t too kind and the Pikes were shrouded in mist. The image has had an Orton effect applied to produce the painterly feel.
Force Beck
Force Beck near Grizedale, Lake District, up stream from the main falls, 8 sec exposure to blur the water.
Buttermere Tree
From my recent visit to the Lakes a view of Buttermere looking across the lake with Fleetwich Pike in the distance
Tom Gill
Another shot from my recent Lake District visit. Tarn Hows near Coniston was orginally three separate small lakes which were flooded to form one larger lake. This waterfall called Tom Gill is easily reached from Tarn Hows down the stream feeding from the Tarn.

Slater Bridge
Slater Bridge crosses the River Brathay which flows from Little Langdale Tarn into Elterwater. This is an ancient stone footbridge connecting Little Langdale with the Tilberthwaite Slate quarries.

Wordsworths Grasmere
“The loveliest spot than man hath ever found”, William Wordsworth. This shot from a walk round Grasmere shows the point at which the lake flows down into the River Rothay with reflections of the surrounding fells in the lake.
Wordsworths’ Grasmere
William Wordsworth said of Grasmere – “The loveliest spot than man hath ever found”. This shot is from a walk round Grasmere at the small waterfall on the edge of the lake which flows down into the River Rothay with reflections of the surrounding fells.
Troutbeck Valley
Just returned from a trip to the beautiful Lake District. An evening view up the Troutbeck valley looking towards the snow capped peaks of High Street in the distance.

Reflections
From the eastern shore of Buttermere looking South towards Fleetwith Pike on a still cloudy evening the reflections were mirror perfect. I’ve reprocessed this shot over and over again and still not happy with it but I’ll publish it anyway to get your views. The sky was grey and dull which I believe detracts from the perfection of the relfection.
The Sanctuary
I thought I’d reprocess this shot in monochrome, an old shot from 2011 at Castlerigg Stone Circle near Keswick
